    How to Remove a Cooling Fan and Shroud on Kia Sorento? Posted by Customer
    A:
    To replace engine cooling fans, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, drain the cooling system, remove the radiator upper cover fasteners, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the fan/shroud mounting fasteners. Next, disconnect the wiring harnesses to the cooling fans and remove the wiring mounting bracket, hold the fan blades, and remove the fan retaining nut. Unbolt the fan motor from the shroud, remove the screws, and separate the motor from the shroud. The installation is the reverse of removal.
