For the SEPHIA AND SPECTRA models, first, you have to detach the door trim panel, then you have to disarm the connecting rod, of the lock cylinder, lock button and the latch release. Thirdly, three mounting screws need to be unscrewed from the end of the door that will allow to take out the door latch. For installation, there will be the latch where you are supposed to place, then follows the screws which should be fixed and tightened ,then the operating rods should be fixed to the latch with help of the retaining clips. For the outside handle, quite detailed as follows, you remove the door trim panel, then cut off the operating rods, follow the mounting nuts and pull the handle off the door with a consideration of the connection of the key lock cylinder and the outside door handle. Installation on the other hand occurs in the reverse order from what has been described in the steps of setting up a website. For lock cylinder, the procedure that should be followed includes: First, the outsider door handle has to be removed, then the lock pixel has to be pulled out from the handle and the installation is done inversely. In the SPORTAGE models, firstly, release the door trim panel and you will see the inside handle mounting screw, take it off, and after that, the handle has to be moved to the rearward position and turned anti-clockwise to get rid of the door module. Remove the lock cable and the inside handle connect cable, then undo the handle and to put it in its place, reverse the steps. As for the outside handle and key lock cylinder, one has to take out the door trim panel, the door window glass as well as the rear window glass channel and some connection between the outside handle rod and the lock rod. Remove the outside handle base by unscrewing the retaining bolts, and then, the key lock cylinder and outside handle lever off the door. Removal is the opposite process in which a component or program is removed from a computer. To release the latch; pull out the door trim panel, door window glass, door module; pull out the lock cable and inside handle cable; finally, detach the two screws that are used to secure the latch. The lugs on the latch should be disconnected from the door module with the assistance of a small screwdriver-and the latch assembly should be taken out; the procedure is reversed in the case of installation.
