    Disconnect the fuel pump and fuel gauge sending unit from the assembly. Loosen the clamps and remove the hose connecting the pump outlet pipe. Remove the inlet filter and the small bracket at the bottom of the pump. Remove the rubber mount and the large rubber band securing the pump. Discard the old pump assembly sealing ring and replace it. Remove the fuel gauge sending unit and disengage the ground wire receptacle. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector and outlet hose. Detach the wiring harness clip and pull apart the fuel pump assembly. Remove the cover, pump, rubber insulators, inlet filter, and fuel pressure regulator. Install new 0-rings on the regulator. Remove the old fuel filter, regulator or sending unit, and install the new ones. Remove the rear seat cushion, carpeting, access cover, and disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the sub fuel sender from the fuel tank.
