    Q:
How to remove and install a radiator in a Kia Sedona? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the battery terminal by removing the cable. Applying the parking brake, lift and jack up the front of the vehicle so that it rests securely on jack stands. Let out all coolant from the cooling system. Remove air intake pipe. Pull off radiator support cover trim panel. Disconnect hood latch first on 2005 or earlier model but then remove electrical connector to horn by separating harness so that you may pass it aside. Take out engine cooling fan assembly for easy accessibility to radiator. Detach coolant reservoir hose from radiator filler neck and retainer, move it aside. Separate upper and lower radiator hoses from the radiator itself. Undo bolts which attach bracketing of radiator, take out snap in supports and reposition to create working space. Unscrew condenser mounting bracket bolts carefully separate air conditioning condenser from radiator through disconnecting condenser retaining tabs around it gently push away unit at same time take care not scrape fins against each other nor hurt any part Do not force the condenser, place it forward within vehicle ensuring no damage occurs to its cooling vanes or radiators as well while detaching Keep lifting up until you can finally pull out your car's rad Check rad for leakage or damage; if repairs are required during this service job please see an authorized repair facility Because bugs and dirt can be washed off back of a car's rad with garden hose Spray water behind a car's rads until they get clean Gardens have to go right inside one fitting before returning As far as their durability goes when fixing these leaks emulate what mechanics would do once again Miniature organisms crusting this fragile brass tubing should be cleared using company-prescribed cleaning agents too Sheer lack of amount heat being generated could ultimately result in an overheating engine Instead you need to choose a high-performance cooler just like those seen above Other wise there is a good chance that you will end up having boiled eggs being served over your stove top Now that we've reached here replace rubber mounts if damaged It is important to ensure that radiator fits snugly in lower rubbers after A/C condenser has been properly bolted to it So, when installing them we have to be sure that flexible air seals are positioned correctly on both sides of the rad After installation, fill the cooling system with a half-mixture of antifreeze and water Start engine and check for leaks Wait until upper radiator hose becomes hot indicating normal operating temperature of engine which will require more addition Re-check coolant level and add as necessary.
