How Can I Replace the Driveaxle Oil Seals on Kia Spectra? Posted by Customer
    A:
Wheel leaks often result from worn wheel seals. To replace, lift the vehicle on jackstands and remove the driveaxle(s). Carefully pry the wheel seal from the transaxle bore with a screwdriver or special tool. Install the new seal with a driver or deep socket, ensuring it's fully seated and lubricated. Reinstall the driveaxles.

    Q:
How to Replace the rear Oil Seal on Kia Spectra? Posted by Customer
    A:
Raise the rear of the vehicle and securely support it on jackstands. Block the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling. Place the transmission in Neutral with the parking brake off. Carefully pry out the side gear shaft oil seal with a seal removal tool or a large screwdriver, making sure you don't scratch the seal bore. Using a seal installer or a large deep socket as a drill, install the new wheel seal. Drive it into the bore squarely and ensure it is completely seated. Lubricate the lip of the new seal with multi-purpose grease, then install the driveaxles. Check the differential lubricant level and add some if necessary to bring it to the appropriate level.
