    The TR sensor is on the transaxle top. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the air filter housing. Disconnect the TR sensor's electrical connector and remove the shift control cable nut. Remove the control shaft lever and the TR sensor. To install, slide the TR sensor onto the manual valve shaft and loosely install the bolts. Install the lever and tighten the nut. Turn the lever to Park, then to Neutral. Connect the cable and install the nut. Align the lever and sensor holes, tighten the screws. Follow the removal steps in reverse to complete. Check the transmission and indicator operation.

    The neutral position switch is used on 1994 and 1995 B6 SOHC and 1995 through 1997 B6 DOHC models with a manual transaxle. It is located on top of the transaxle. To replace it, first disconnect the electrical connector from the neutral position switch. Then, unscrew the neutral position switch from the transaxle case. Remove and discard the old neutral position switch 0-ring. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to use a new 0-ring and tighten the switch securely.
