How do I Remove and Replace the Blower Motor and Resistor/MOSFET on Kia Spectra?

To replace the blower motor resistor and blower motor, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, detach the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor (2004 and earlier models), or power MOSFET (2005 and later models). Next, remove the blower motor resistor/MOSFET mounting screws and remove it from the housing. Installation is the reverse of removal. Reconnect the battery.
