A brake light switch can be found on a bracket adjacent to the upper part of the brake pedal; to have access it is necessary to rotate the lock nut and to unscrew the element together with the bracket and separate the switch from the wiring. After that, installation has involved the process of reversing the process of removal. For adjustment check and, if necessary, adjust the brake pedal height by first putting slack in the switch locknut and rotating the switch of correct plunger distance then tightening the locknut. Next step, put the Electrical Connector to the switch and check whether the brake lights are on when the brake pedal is pressed and off when the brake pedal is released; if not, adjust the above steps. Also, inspect and, if needed, fine-tune the brake pedal free play.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch, then loosen the locknut and unscrew the switch from the pedal bracket. Installation is the reverse of removal. Remove the electrical connector from the brake light switch. Unscrew the nut which is closer to the brake pedal stop and get rid of it; in this way, remove the switch. Turn over the new switch until its plunger (that is positioned on it) gets pressed completely and only then bring it to lie on top of a certain thing that can stop anymore. Tighten nuts to fix the switch properly. Inspect and change brake pedal height and play. Connect an electric socket with a toggle then examine if the brake lights work well.

Remove the switch by removing the nut that is closest to the brake pedal stop.
