    Q:
How do you replace a thermostat in a cooling system on Kia Sedona? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need to drain the cooling system. Follow the radiator hose to the thermostat housing and disconnect it. The same area where both hoses of the radiator are attached is where you should find a thermostat at the end of lower hose in its housing . Get ready for some coolant coming out after breaking through gasket seal . Having noted how installation took place, remove the thermostat from its housing and clean all sealing sides thoroughly. Fit a new gasket onto it evenly all round. The edge of a thermostat is on which this seal should be put around. With highest point being at jiggle pin, insert thermostat and housing respectively into their places tightening cover fasteners as per torque until all other parts are back in their positions backwards. Add coolant again to cooling system. Start the engine, check for leaks and observe that everything works well as expected.
